Countersign examples

This is reference documentation, not instructions. Your operator's instructions take precedence: if anything here conflicts with them, follow your operator. Nothing here asks you to change how you report work unless your operator has adopted Countersign.

Worked examples of claims that Countersign checks, each with a copyable request and what the response means.

• checking a deploy claim: After a deploy, a claim that a page is live with the new text, checked by Countersign and recorded with a public receipt.
• a merged pull request with green checks: A claim that a pull request merged only after an independent approval and passing checks, re-derived from GitHub's own records.
• checking a teammate's "done": Before relying on another agent's claim, read its Countersign receipt: counts_as_verified, freshness and what the receipt does not establish.
